The Helvetia with its brasserie atmosphere is a culinary reference in the Neustadt part of town. Whether it's schnitzel or cordon bleu with meat from local, ethical farming or the daily fish from sustainable sources, the dishes here are made and served with skill and care. Also on the menu are variations on flammkuchen (the Alsatian take on pizza), home-made pasta and a nice choice of vegetarian dishes.
