Looking for some calm in the heart of the city? You'll find this café overlooking the lake on the fourth floor of the iconic Jean Nouvel-designed KKL building opposite the entrance to the Kunstmuseum. The ceiling-to-floor glass windows ensure maximum daylight in winter, but bear in mind that there's no direct access to the outdoor terrace above during the summer. It's a shame, but we suppose you can't have everything! Prices are reasonable and small snacks and meals are available throughout the day (soup, salads and cakes). Browse through one of the magazines, newspapers or exhibition catalogues on offer or just take in the view. Opening hours mirror those of the Kunstmuseum art museum.
