Stepping through the Art Nouveau entrance really is a bit like stepping into an exuberant, swirling mardi gras procession – paintings from pop art to romantic landscapes cover the walls edge to edge, vigourous pot plants and generous bouquets jostle for space with antiques and trinkets and the snobbishly chic white leather backrests of the wall benches contrast with the simple wooden chairs and tables.
