The mountain resort of Meiringen - Hasliberg is easy to reach. From Lucerne, a train (to Brünig) and a bus will get you there in 90 minutes. Up top you'll find a hiking and biking paradise, a couple of cable cars and great views. One of its highlights is the so-called Muggestutz dwarf trail where you and your kids can follow the adventures of dwarf Muggestutz and his friends on some easy hikes. Finally, the panoramic Alpentower restaurant with its 360°-view at 2200m above sea level is the perfect place for a lunch break.
