We’ve always been a little scared of this statue, but then we are card-carrying wusses here at In Your Pocket. The Risen Christ statue is another miracle-provider in Međugorje, a statue of JC that was erected in 1998 but has been emitting a strange substance ever since, an oozing that many pilgrims believe contains a miraculous substance. Those who are unable to make the treks up the hills often use this as a spot for silent prayer, so do be respectful to those here. Those seeking mercy may find it at the feet of the Risen Christ.
