Beautifully restored house at the beginning of the Old Town, featuring a restaurant, a gallery and a museum. Originally known as 'Hadzhi Aleko's House', after its first owner, the house was one of the first in Plovdiv to introduce a more European architectural style.
The interior is full of original antique furniture as well as paintings by renowned Bulgarian artists. Of particular note is the massive carved wooden ceiling in the shape of a sun.

Entrance to the ground floor art gallery is free and a fee of 5 leva is charged to visit the second floor museum.Free with Plovdiv City Card
