Tarnów's nightlife scene is about what you might expect from a small town whose student population tends to up sticks to Kraków upon graduating from high school, so yes, it's a bit limited and often sleepy on weeknights. Of course, there are exceptions, and you'll find the best of them listed here.

One thing to note when visiting Tarnów is that the city is home to one of Poland's best microbreweries: Trzech Kumpli (Three Buddies). Don't leave Tarnów without trying a few of their beers, and if you're in a bar that doesn't serve them...of which there are sadly still a few remaining, well, we urge you to find somewhere else to drink.
