Something truly unique is docking in Rijeka this September! From September 12 to 20, the Art Explora Festival sails into town — bringing with it the world’s first museum on a ship.

This one-of-a-kind floating festival has already wowed visitors in cities like Venice, Marseille, and Malaga. Now it's Rijeka’s turn to climb aboard for a week of free art, music, performances, and immersive experiences — all happening on the ship, along the waterfront, and across the city.
Expect a mix of virtual reality journeys, interactive exhibits, concerts, films, talks, and workshops. You’ll be able to travel through ancient Mediterranean cities in VR (thanks to a collab with Ubisoft) or get lost in ocean-inspired soundscapes designed by top sound artists from Paris. The whole experience is curated by local art expert Branka Benčić, and ties into the theme “Beyond the Tide” — a celebration of our connection to the sea.

Whether you're into art, curious tech, live music, or just looking for something different — this is one stop you’ll want to make.
Free entry. All ages welcome.
