One of 6 branches of Muzeum Narodowe (ENG: the National Museum in Szczecin) Szczecin's History Museum is located in the Old Town Hall (mind you, the 'new' town hall is quite old as well). Here you will find a decent collection of archaeological relics dating from the 8th century onwards, during the earliest known Slavic inhabitance of the area, as well as an overview of the city through the ages under Prussian, Swedish, German, and ultimately-Polish rule.
