“Same same, but different” is a phrase that every well-seasoned traveller knows and also  perfectly describes each Balkan country’s take on regional cuisine. You could be easily tricked into believing that Albanian and Turkish food are the same. Simply compare İçli Köfte with qofte and know there’s a difference. Interestingly, the same can be said about the languages - lezet in Albanian means pleasurable, whereas lezzet in Turkish means flavour. Pure genius!
