The first step to becoming a patient at UNLV School of Dental Medicine is to schedule a screening appointment, which will help determine if your needs are a suitable match for their student doctors.
Please note: completing a screening appointment does not guarantee that you will be accepted as a patient. Some patients’ dental needs or medical conditions are too complex for their students.
In the general dental clinics on the Shadow Lane campus, students provide oral health care to patients while supervised by the school’s licensed faculty dentists. While treatments in these clinics cost the least, more time is needed during appointments.
The school also operates the UNLV Smiles Dental Clinic on UNLV’s Maryland Parkway campus, in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, and the same qualifications for treatment apply.
