Nov 15 - Apr 20 2020       Museumsplatz 1
Art has been on quite the ride over the centuries, with the evolution of emotion from internal to external one of the great changes in recent times. Instinct took over from academic acceptance, and art became something closer to expression than achievement. German artists were at the forefront of this, and German Expressionism is one of those great artistic tangents that will forever inform young artists worldwide. The Leopold Museum is showcasing more than 100 works from the Braglia and Johenning collections, vital signposts on the highway of expressionism.

Open 10:00 – 18:00. Thu 10:00 - 21:00, Closed Tue. Nov 15 2019 - Apr 20 2020
