Throughout the spring of 2019, the Albertina Museum will be showcasing the fascinating of Austrian photographer Manfred Willmann. This particular collection focuses on the rural life that characterised the artist’s early years, and it attempts to smash tired cliches of idyllic countryside existence along the way. One of the first Austrian photographers to use colour as a means of artistic expression, this exhibition is another fine feather in Willmann’s cap.
