Barbara Strozzi (1619-1777) is one of the first female composers and baroque singer-virtuoso. On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of her birth, her creatove work is presented in detail for the first time in Lithuania.
The program, written by singer R. Dubinskaitė, is complemented with tales of the composer's vocal music masterpieces, with stories about the inspirational creativity of a person of exceptional spiritual strength and her difficult life in a patriarchal structure of the Middle Ages.
