In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the declaration of Lithuanian independence on February 16, 1918, every evening at 7.18pm (19:18) until the anniversary a trumpet player will appear at the window of the Palace of the Grand Dukes by the cathedral and play Dear Lithuania, regarded as the country’s second national anthem.
