The story brought worldwide fame to this winner of Hans Christian Andersen’s medal, and composer Karen Khachaturian set Cipollino to music. The brave Cipollino backed up by his little friends – the jolly Radish-Girl, the wise Cherry-Boy, and the beautiful Magnolia – defeats the evil Prince Citron and the cunning Signor Tomato. Together they experience many adventures, and the story ends very happily!
