The Dragon Boat Festival is an event that has attracted many enthusiasts from different countries to try their hand at competitions using traditional, dragon-headed boats.
The drum is beaten in the boats and songs are sung in the race. The instrumented rhythm in mythology is linked to the dragon's heart beat, and it helps the rowers to simultaneously control the boat and achieve maximum speed. Such boats were invented more than 2500 years ago.
During this summer, there will be more than 10 of these competitions in various cities in Lithuania.
