Vilnius In Your Pocket

The Trinity restaurant is housed in the cellars of a former Benedictine convent, the Žuvinė fish restaurant is in the former town hall and the Bizarre restaurant opened in what was once the Jewish hospital. Over the past quarter of a century Vilnius’ culinary scene was spiced up thanks to the early arrival of Sue’s Indian restaurant. Today you can find almost any type of cuisine from Armenian to Argentinian and Japanese to Mexican.
The first edition of Vilnius In Your Pocket included all 16 hotels and 35 restaurants the city had to offer at the time. A quarter of a century later, it is literally impossible to put all eating establishments into a guide that fits in your pocket. The Stikliai beer bar in which we hatched the idea of the In Your Pocket guides no longer serves beer and it was renamed the Dream Bar, a subtle reference to our dream to conquer the world. Today In Your Pocket publishes guides to 100 cities in 23 countries and counting.
