Take the already popular Maska club, give it a rather elegant shake-up and rename it ‘New’ Maska, simple solutions for a fast moving city. Considering the expensive looking redesign, the drinks prices pretty damn reasonable for the standard on offer. Weekend club nights take place only on Saturday night and occasionally on Fridays if they organise an event. The have fairly uninspiring titles, Latino nights and the likes, but hey, they’re only names and don’t stop the punters flooding in. House, dance and 80’s – 90’s tunes, sonically fiddled with by some of Poland’s top DJ’s, rule the night. Great location, just off the main drag as you head towards the Old Town, vis-à-vis the Copernicus monument. Wonder if he would make it past the door selection?
