Lamus

  ul. Bogusławskiego 97 ,   Old Town          (+48) 791 76 00 66     29 Jan 2024
Amongst the sex shops, peep shows, and bender-begging bars of ul. Bogusławskiego, you'll find Lamus - one of the area's oldest, most loveable dives. Tucked under the train tressle like something swept under the carpet, Lamus has long been known for its eclectic playlist of underappreciated or unknown tunes, and dark, kooky interior of tree bark-lined walls and dead trees, with a hatchet ominously hanging over the bar. Once strictly purveyors of cheap Czech beer, this veteran boozer has scrubbed up a bit and hopped on the country's craft beer craze, now offering Czech and Polish microbrews from eight taps, plus many more in the fridge. Although little more than a crawlspace, there's a summer beer garden in the front and they keep the fireplace going in winter. A true original, and great place to mix with the local fauna.
