Buck.Studio invites an audience to the opening of Żyjnia exhibition on the 4th of May at 7 pm, at Dizajn BWA Wrocław Gallery (2-4 Świdnicka St.). The designers, Dominika Buck and Paweł Buck, conceived of the exhibition as a freely accessible urban health resort, inspired by the nostalgic atmosphere of Lower Silesian spas and wellness palaces, reminiscent of the traditional spa resorts famous for their healing waters. Beautifully designed, with an extreme attention to details, is meant to function not only as a space for other exhibitions, but also as a unique place of relaxation, despite its location in the city centre.
 Therefore, instead of healing waters an audience will find here medicinal herbal infusions and relaxing steam inhalations. A cultural meeting place, the space will be the host to number of artistic events, the first one being the 5! exhibition, first cross-sectional presentation of Buck.Studio’s work. On Saturday, May 11th, between noon and 3pm, as part of a crowdfunding campaign, the 9th anniversary of Design for Children project will be marked by the visit of Jakub Stępień, aka Hakobo, who will conduct a family workshop. During the Museum Night, on the 18th of May, the exhibition will be open from 3pm till midninght, and from 6pm till 10pm an intergenerational party will take place during which medicinal herbal mixtures will be served. The exhibition will last till the end of summer, but Żyjnia space will not cease to exist afterwards. It will become the place for city debates and meetings, during which discussions of water in the context of consumer goods production and everyday use will take place.
