World War II Graffiti

Ul. Filtrowa 57 ,   City Centre         more than a year ago
Originally painted in 1944 and painted over in 1945, these symbols were uncovered again in 2014 during renovation works. The PW is the symbol of the kotwica, a wartime symbol meaning 'Polska Walcząca', translated as 'Poland continues to fight', and can be found all over the city, so keep your eyes peeled.
