Not too far from the city centre in Minsk’s south-eastern suburbs, Tourist fuses timeless Soviet style and modernity to create an entirely unique effect. Offering excellent value for money in a city where finding a room for a good price isn’t easy, the rooms are clean and comfortable with communal extras galore including a massive restaurant that serves a not inedible buffet breakfast and a bar complete with two pool tables and six more for Russian billiards. Wireless internet needs to be paid for, but the price is so cheap it’s almost free anyway. Good public transport connections too. Definitely one worth considering.
