The bus station is just a stone’s throw from the old town. The regional bus operator ARST provides services between Oristano and Cagliari, Sassari, Olbia and Porto Torres. The connection between Oristano and Alghero-Fertilia airport is operated by Logudoro Tours. Buses operated by Turmo Travel stop at Oristano along the Cagliari-Santa Teresa Gallura line and also provide drop-off at Nuoro, Olbia and Palau. The bus station at Oristano is also the end of the line for Fara Viaggi operated bus Volobus that links the city to Cagliari-Elmas airport. Digitur operates buses between Bosa and Cuglieri in the north of the province towards Porto Torres.
