Berlin

Kids4Free - Hertha BSC

20 Nov 2023
Starting for the 2018/19 season, kids under 14 years old will be eligible for free tickets to watch Hertha’s Bundesliga home games at the Olympiastadion.

How does it work?

Once tickets for each of Hertha’s home games go on advanced sale, there will be tickets available to collect from the club’s official fan shops throughout Berlin (except for matches against Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin). Tickets can only be collected by persons aged 18 or above. No proof of age for the ticket holder is required upon collection. A maximum of eight free tickets can be collected by one person. There is the possibility to purchase an unrestricted number of tickets for accompanying people in the same area as the free tickets. Group requests (for more than eight tickets, e.g. for football clubs) should be made via tickets@herthabsc.de. Important: Free or discounted tickets are not available at the stadium gates.

Where are the tickets for?

The Kids4Free tickets are in selected areas of all blocks in the Gegentribüne, as well as in the Kurven on that side of the stadium, both in the upper and lower tier. The seats can vary from game to game, so you will not be in the same place each matchday. Subject to availability.

What should I do on matchday?

To avoid long waiting times at the stadium, there will be a special entrance at the Osttor for all Kids4Free ticket holders and their guardians. All holders of these tickets must use this entrance. Every child should bring proof of age with them in case a steward requests to see it. Children up to and including 13 years old are only allowed onto stadium premises when accompanied by a legal guardian aged 18 or over. Please note: Should a child be unable to make use of a Kids4Free ticket, it can be upgraded to a standard ticket on matchday by paying the difference at the gate.

What discounts are there for children over 13?

Children and young adults between 14 and 17 are not eligible for free tickets as part of the Kids4Free campaign. However, tickets can be purchased for this age group through advanced sale with a 50% discount on the current matchday ticket price. There is no special entrance for children aged between 14 and 17.
