Summer Beats

06 May 2026

So you are on these pages because you’re in a festival frenzy and you were looking for a guide to lead you through the labyrinth. Well buckle up and hold on tight. We’ll lead you through the adventurous days and nights of the summer accompanied by a soundtrack of techno, house, trance, bass, tech-house (or no soundtrack at all if you prefer)... We’ll attempt to give you a clear and concise run through of the best festivals this beautiful country has to offer from north to south and will make sure you know the place, the date, and the headliners.

As for the festivals themselves, as an institution in the past they served the purpose of strengthening the bonds among the community in the era before mass media. That time has passed but the need to be a part of something bigger than yourself, a part of the community, is still very much alive. This is the summer you’ll get everything you ever wanted so no matter what happens just keep on dancing and living!

ZAGREB

Our most northern destination and also the only continental location is the capital, Zagreb, but the party is just too good to leave out. If the capital of the country calls, you answer. It starts with the INmusic Festival, featuring the event of the season and a grand lineup from June 22nd to 24th, showcasing renowned acts such as The Gorillaz, Jack White, Kings of Leon, and The Flaming Lips, to name just a few. So if you are planning to go deeper into the continent, plan your visit to coincide with this bomb.
Then it’s time to move a few miles south, to Primišlje near Slunj, that will host two trance festivals this summer and make you dance and swing amongst the trees deep in the forest with psychedelic and goa trance DJs, live acts, and cutting edge visual and experimental art. First is Bear Stone Festival from 2nd to 5th July and from 3rd to 9th of August it will become a home of Mo:Dem Festival.

ISTRIA & KVARNER

We now shift our focus to the Istria and Kvarner region.
The Sea Star Festival in Umag will immerse you in sound from May 28th to 31st, transporting you to a fresher and more enjoyable perspective on life with tech house giant Boris Brejcha as leading act.
A major new addition to the Adriatic circuit is Gates of Agartha at Cave Romane, taking place from 4th to 7th June, blending electronic music, mythology and immersive production in one of the most unique natural amphitheatres in Europe.
Further north in Pula, BSH Amphitheatre Pula returns with a special edition featuring Black Coffee (31st July – 1st August) in the iconic Arena Pula, combining world-class house music with one of the most legendary open-air venues on the continent.

NORTHERN DALMATIA

So we take our journey a bit more south and arrive at Zrće beach on the Island of Pag, the most famous party destination in Croatia often dubbed The Second Ibiza.
From Jun 30th to 3rd July you’ll be able to enjoy The Hideout festival with names such as Kettama, Ben Hemsley, Skream, Interplanetary Criminal, and Sam Divine. Following that, Dropzone brings hard dance energy from July 4th to July 9th with D-Block & S-te-Fan, Sound Rush, Miss K8, Partyraiser and Dr. Peacock.
The renowned Day & Night Festival returns to Zrće with headliners TBA from July 6th to 9th. Rave enthusiasts will converge on Zrće Beach for Verknipt Croatia from July 12th to 16th July, bringing a heavy lineup of hard techno and rave energy featuring Clara Cuvé, OGUZ, Shlømo, Kruelty, Vieze Asbak, Fantasm, and Mika Heggemann.
Summer Peak (August 1st to 6th) and Barrakud (August 9th to 13th )  continue to dominate August with stacked lineups and non-stop beach parties.
From Pag we move on to Tisno, an enchanting festival hub on the Adriatic coast.
Kicking off the season is Hospitality on the Beach (July 1st–6th) with Andy C, A.M.C, Dillinja, Metrik, Kings of the Rollers, and Hazard. Love International follows with Palms Trax, Daniel Avery, Nightmares on Wax, and Shanti Celeste from July 8th to 14th.
Outlook Origins returns from July 23rd to 27th with Goldie, Mala, Ben UFO, Introspekt, and Youngsta.
Defected Croatia closes July into August with The Shapeshifters, Horse Meat Disco, Mousse T, Moodymann, Monki, Purple Disco Machine, Fat Tony, Seth Troxler, and many more.
Dekmantel Selectors (August 20th to 24th)  and Dimensions Festival (August 27th to 31st) round off the Tisno season with world-class selectors including Helena Hauff, John Talabot, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, and Ben UFO.
A new addition to the Adriatic rhythm is the Flows Festival on the island of Ugljan, taking place from 10th to 14th June, blending electronic music with a retreat atmosphere, featuring Guy J and Petar Dundov.
Our last stop in the Northern Dalmatia region is Šibenik that brings up the Sea Sound Festival, happening from July 16th to 19th. This unique festival brings together a diverse lineup of dub, bass and reggae artists with local talents, set in a magical pine forest overlooking the Adriatic.

CENTRAL DALMATIA

Central Dalmatia keeps things simple but impactful, with Split as its key destination. From Jul 10th to 12th, the city hosts Ultra Europe, bringing global headliners like Calvin Harris, Fisher, and Miss Monique.
And just like that, we’ve reached the final stop on our journey down the Croatian coast — going out on a high in one of the world’s most recognised festival settings. From the northern beats to the southern coast, Croatia continues to earn its place on the global festival map.

Dance, love, enjoy, and live!
