Renowned Croatian artist Dubravka Lošić presents her latest exhibition "Libertas Bells" in the historic Bokar Fortress, one of Dubrovnik’s key medieval strongholds. The space, once built for defense, now hosts a poetic and powerful reflection on freedom, transformation, and memory.
Through four distinct cycles – Tondo, Libertas Bells, Rosary, and Oblique Flight – Lošić reimagines the fortress with organic forms, silent bells, blooming sculptures, and abstract compositions. These works embody a quiet dialogue between past and present, between resistance and release.
Lošić’s site-specific approach honors the raw beauty of Bokar’s architecture while inviting visitors into an immersive experience shaped by time, material, and meaning.
