Dubrovnik Musical Spring 2026 – Celebrate Classical Music in the Heart of the City

20 Mar 2026

Dubrovnik is renowned for its summer festivals, but spring offers an equally rich and intimate cultural experience through Dubrovnik Musical Spring, a series of concerts organised by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra (DSO).

Founded in 1924, the orchestra is one of Croatia’s most significant cultural institutions, celebrated for performing both classical masterpieces and works by Dubrovnik composers, including Luka Sorkočević. It plays a vital role in sustaining the city’s musical tradition and bringing world-class performances to audiences throughout the year.

Now in 2026, Dubrovnik Musical Spring presents a vibrant spring programme combining orchestral concerts, solo performances, and thematic evenings. Highlights this season include works by Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Rossini, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Papandopulo, performed by distinguished soloists, guest conductors, and the orchestra itself. Audiences can enjoy concerts in atmospheric venues across the city — from the Rector’s Palace and Revelin Fortress to the Franciscan Church and Marin Držić Theatre — creating a unique blend of historic setting and musical excellence.
Whether you are a classical music aficionado or a curious visitor, this spring programme offers a perfect opportunity to experience Dubrovnik’s rich cultural life in a more intimate setting, where history, architecture, and music come together.
