Kino Mediteran is a project that has been bringing cinema back to Dalmatia for the past 14 years, with open-air screenings in more than 20 towns along the coast and on the islands. By reviving old venues and open-air cinemas, Kino Mediteran offers a unique summer experience: watching films on warm Mediterranean evenings under the stars.
Its programme includes current blockbusters, the best of European and world cinema, children’s films, and selected titles from major film festivals. During the summer, films are screened with bilingual subtitles, making them accessible to international visitors as well. With more than 75,000 visitors annually, Kino Mediteran is more than just a cinema project: it has become a cultural meeting point for local communities and their guests, and a simple, beautiful reminder of how special cinema can be.
