The walled town of Ston is the venue for the 10th edition of Kinookus, a festival that brings film and food together with a busy programme of film screenings, culinary events and after-parties. The main focus of the festival is on the culture of food – what do we grow, how do we grow it, how do we preserve local traditions, and how can we eat well while preserving the ecology of the planet at the same time. Ston itself is a great location (and not just because of its reputation for bringing together the best of the local wine and seafood) with many of the events taking place in the open air against a backdrop of historic buildings.
