This is a true feast for the ears! This summer for 13 days, the beloved Wytwórnia Club, one of Łódź's biggest music and culture venues, will be hosting its 17th Annual Summer Jazz Festival. The fest will feature sounds from France, Poland, Norway and more -- encompassing the full scope of Jazz music and honoring the creators and composors of Polish jazz.
One of the most impressive music clubs in all of Poland, this is the space to hear some Jazz

The festival starts July 4 and goes until August 29, featuring anywhere from one to three shows a week. And one ticket (202zł/192zł) gets you access to the entire festival! Individual ticket prices vary depending on the acts.

The festival kicks off with a concert from Umlat Big Band, one of the best French jazz formations, consisting of a 14-piece orchestra playing swing jazz from the early-mid 20th Century.

Also plan to see acts like Niels Broos and Jamie Peet, a Dutch duo with a background in hip-hop and electronica, which they incorporate into their contemporary, hip jazz sound. Or Mirror Image, a new band on the jazz scene bringing a unique Scandanavian sound and blending both classical jazz with African folk music.

There are even shows for children, like the Polish band Cherry, which performs lively songs about nature, health, diversity and more -- using instruments like the drums, banjo, mandolin, bass guitar. Or Piff Paw, which blends imagination, unique instruments and fun, child-friendly themes into songs that make both kids and adults laugh.

There will also be a concert honoring Polish singer and musician, Zbigniew Wodecki. The whole festival ends with a 20-piece orchestra playing compositions of the Polish Radio Jazz Studio. This is truly an event for music lovers everywhere! See the website for details on individual acts and where to buy tickets.
