Fotofestiwal is one of Central Europe’s leading photography events, transforming the post-industrial spaces of Łódź into vibrant galleries each spring/summer. The festival presents a diverse programme of contemporary photography, including international exhibitions, emerging artist showcases, large-scale outdoor installations, artist talks, workshops and portfolio reviews. With venues clustered around the creative hub of Art_Inkubator and other revitalised factory complexes, Fotofestiwal offers visitors a chance to explore bold visual storytelling while discovering the city’s unique industrial heritage and dynamic cultural scene.

2026 edition: The 2026 programme will once again feature a curated main exhibition alongside the open-call ShowOFF section highlighting promising new voices in photography.
