The Museum of Textiles and the City Culture Park sit right at the edge of this 6.3ha green treasure, which was founded in the mid-1800s, around the same time as the White Factory. It’s worth a stroll through, just to see the beauty of the park, which seems to work in tandem with the historical buildings surrounding it. On a sunny day, the facade of the White Factory is reflected off the large pond at the center of the park, and the walking paths and benches give a great chance to see the buildings from a photogenic spot. In 2004, a lily-shaped fountain was added to the middle of the pond, designed by a local Łódź sculptor.
This is one of the best green beauties in the city and offers lots of chances for lounging in the sun, meandering along the paths, and even playing with your kids (there’s a great playground in the middle). Highly recommended visit.
