Lodz

St. Olga Orthodox Church

The second Orthodox church in Łódź might lack the dazzle of its counterpart on Kilińskiego but is still a worthwhile detour for fans of ecclesiastical architecture. Designed by Franciszek Chełmiński the single nave chapel was consecrated in 1898, two years after the next door orphanage for orthodox children was completed. Services take place now only twice a year.

Open

Individuals can visit on Saturdays 09:00-10:30 and 17:00-18:30 (call in advance to arrange a tour for a group).
