Curling is often referred to as competitive sweeping. A cult Olympic sport that is a mix of ice skating (without skates), sweeping with brooms and shuffleboard type play with hand propelled weights. Poland's first purpose-built curling ice rink will be opening to great fanfare with a small friendly competition. 32 teams will compete for a small cash prize with entries of teams that wish to show off their sweeping and sliding skills.
