Saint Vincent Vineyard

  Borów Wielki 57E, Nowe Miasteczko      (+48) 68 388 89 40     more than a year ago
Named after the patron saint of all things 'wine', Saint Vincent vineyard was established in 2009 to continue the centuries-old tradition of winemaking in the Lubuskie region. The best grape varieties were selected to obtain aromatic wines with a pleasant bouquet and to suit the local soil and climate conditions that have made the region so wine-optimal! The vineyard is run by disciplined vintners who know that large spacing between rows allows for very good exposure to sunlight and limiting the occurrence of diseases. In 2021, the estate has expanded and more rows of new grapevines have been added to the cycle. Harvest is done by hand and the grapes are transported in crates, all of which is done to ensure that the winery receives whole and non-oxidised fruit. Thanks to the vinification carried out in cooperation with French specialists, the result of this immensely-scrutinised process is high-quality wine. Saint Vincent's winery produce was the first official local wine at the 2014 Zielona Góra Wine Harvest Festival. Both the vineyard and winery are located on one farm owned by Agronomik Polska Sp. z o.o. in Borów Wielki.

Visitors are invited to drop in and pick up a bottle or two during business hours (Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00) or take it a step further with a wine tasting. For this activity, prior reservation is required, and two options are available for snacks: the smaller package includes crackers, bread, olives, water, the bigger packaged deals in bread, ham, cheese, olives, crackers and sausages.
