Lubuskie Wineries & Viticulture

Get out into the Lubuskie countryside on a winery tour.

The sun, river and sands are something of a second holy trinity in these lands. Thanks to the area’s unique geography, an increasingly optimal climate, and proud local heritage of wine production dating back to the 12th century, Lubuskie is becoming increasingly known for exceptional wine. In fact, believe or not, this region was once the cradle of industrial grapevine cultivation, and has some of the longest-running vineyards north of the Mediterranean. Famous for its sparkling white wine from the 1800s onward, the industry was devastated by WWII and the communist era, but a wave of new small family vineyards are reviving the region’s viticulture traditions. Today an enotour through the scenic countryside is an excellent way to explore Lubuskie while ruddying your nose and stocking your wine cellar. We’ve highlighted the best vineyards in the region below so you can do just that. Each venue includes detailed information about the vineyard's location, offer, amenities, how to make a reservation, and more.
