If you find yourself at the main train station with some time on your hands, this is a fine place to hang out. Walk out of the front of the station and straight ahead to where the public boats on Lake Lucerne depart from. You will see a glass structure sitting on the water and that is Café Luz. Soaked in daylight during the day and lit by a grand chandelier at night, this is a bustling place. They have a terrace on the waterside and some seats and a barbecue grill on the station side, serving BBQ specialities such as Swiss sausages and halloumi cheese sandwiches.
