We recommend you pack a hearty appetite - and maybe a few antacid tabs - if you’re coming to town on the weekend of Grillfest, an annual food culture event that typically attracts around 50,000 voracious visitors every June. Despite the name, it’s more than just a massive grill party. Grillfest has expanded into a more general foodie gathering with about 300 vendors on hand to peddle their delicacies. There’s a cultural programme to boot. Entrance is free, but bring money for the munchies.
