Although museums are often viewed as repositories of historical objects, we rarely consider that history is being made right now, which is why the Latvian National Art Museum is constantly seeking tomorrow’s masterpieces. A new exhibition at the Arsenāls Exhibition Hall entitled LNMM New Acquisitions. 21st Century displays some of the most significant works by Latvian artists that have been acquired in the past 17 years.
