Ania&nbsp;Dąbrowska, retro/pop songstress from&nbsp;Chełm, appeared on the 2002 edition of the singing reality show&nbsp;<em>Idol</em>&nbsp;(which is basically&nbsp;<em>American Idol</em>, except not American), but it wasn&#39;t until her widely-praised 2004 debut album&nbsp;<em>Samotność&nbsp;po&nbsp;zmierzchu</em>&nbsp;(<em>Solitude After Dusk</em>) that her career truly took off. Her most recent album,&nbsp;<em>Bawię&nbsp;się&nbsp;świetnie</em>&nbsp;(<em>I&#39;m Having a Blast</em>), went platinum within two months of release (this despite NOT sounding like she&#39;s having a blast).
