Turning communist-era commercial space into an appealing gastro destination is no easy illusion, but Aioli’s urban canteen aesthetic turns the trick with aplomb. Dominated by two large circular bars - one around the kitchen hung with colanders and racks of prosciutto, the other an actual drink bar ringed with wine glasses, wooden furnishings dressed with fresh herbs do much to dispel the brick and concrete, while excellent service further elevates the atmosphere. The exciting, modern menu extends from Mediterranean tapas and seafood to pizza, burgers, steaks and salads, and the cocktails are highly popular with daydrinkers on social media. This place absolutely buzzes, aided by breakfast and lunch specials, affordable prices and a kitchen that stays open late for their urbanite clientele, who help this trendsetting spot blur the lines between bar, bistro and brunch spot.
From Monday to Friday, AïOLI serve nutritious breakfasts for 1 euro (that's about 4.5zł) with a drink from the breakfast station, whilst on weekends they have coffee for an extra 1zł. Their lunch specials, served between 12:30 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday, contains soup, a main dish and small dessert for just under 27zł. 2nd location at ul. Chmielna 26.
