The Byzantine Nostalgia project examines similarities between Polish and Ukrainian art and to find their common cultural sources. This exhibition focuses more on the attraction to a metaphysical, timeless reality rather than the style or method behind the art.
Tiberiy Silvashi ULYSSES
This is a collective exhibition of dozens of 20th century and contemporary Polish and Ukrainian artists whose work relates to the legacy of Jerzy Nowosielski. Nowosielski's work, fascinated by the bizarre coexistence of two dimensions - the sacred and the profane, the spiritual and the physical, the mystical and the rational - became the starting point for the research that led to this exhibition.
