Become a chocolate aficionado at the E.Wedel Chocolate Factory Museum in Warsaw -- home to one of the most (if not THE most) popular chocolatiers in the country. The museum, open since September of 2024, gives you a chance to discover the secrets of chocolate production and delicacies through a thematic exhibition, interactive displays and workshops for adults and children alike. There are also classes that combine learning and fun for organized groups of children and teenagers.

The main exhibition at the museum covers three levels and is divided into a few thematic spaces -- the Ghanaian Space, where you can learn how cocoa beans are picked and stored. The Chocolatier's space, where visitors can dive into the techniques of making chocolate, including mixing and rolling the ingredients.
Then there's the Confectioner's space, where you can learn about the final process of chocolate production and hear the sound of breaking chocolate bars.
And finally, the Designer's Space is where you can see how the design of chocolate packaging has changed over the years.

If you decide to visit the interactive exhibition, get ready for a whole host of exciting opportunities, including a chance to taste liquid chocolate and roasted cocoa beans, the ability to start the chocolate-making machine and touch the exhibits, and also the chance to learn about the Wedel family, along with much much more.

At the end of the tour, you can design your own box for the popular Polish chocolate confection, Ptasie Mleczko with the finished design being sent to visitors via email.
