The exhibition of photographic objects created by Jan Smaga and Hanna Rechowicz evoke the history of a house in Warsaw where Hanna Rechowicz lived for many years. The house has a rich past - not only as the meeting place for Warsaw's art community but also as the space marked by painterly and sculptural interventions. Jan Smaga seeks to preserve the integrity of the process in his photographs. Displayed in the rooms of the Zachęta Gallery the photographs become the only representation of an inaccessible place.
