Suntago Water World

ul. Nowy Świat 1, Wręcza     more than a year ago
The first completed part of the massive and ambitious Park of Poland amusement and leisure complex, Suntago Water World puts Warsaw’s swimming complexes to absolute shame. Covering 20ha about 50km southwest of the capital, Suntago is the largest covered water park in Europe, and can accommodate up to 15,000 people. Climate-controlled at 32 degrees Centigrade year-round, this tropical oasis includes 740 living palm trees and represents a level of investment that simply has not been seen before in PL for a facility of this kind.

Divided into three themed zones - Jamango, Relax and Saunaria - Suntago functions as both an entertainment and wellness centre, for kids, families and adults. Jamanga Water Jungle is the biggest attraction and you gain entry with a basic ticket (124zł weekdays, 149zł weekends for an adult full-day ticket). Providing plenty of adrenaline for adults, in this huge zone you’ll find more water slides than anywhere else in Europe - 32 of them, ranging up to 5 stories high and 256m long, with a combined length of 3.2 km, and crazy names like Mad Octopus, Unicorn Cloud and Neon Torpedo. The area also includes indoor and outdoor thermal pools, a wave pool, artificial river, saunas, a beach, a bar and several other places for food and refreshment, plus about 4000 deck chairs. A 3-zone ticket (159/184zł) also grants access to the more chilled out Relax and Saunaria zones, both of which are age 16+. While Saunaria includes 10 different saunas from around the world and a waterfall, the large Relax area includes the full services of Suntago Wellness & Spa, plus heated pools, bars, a 20,000m garden and plenty of spaces indoors and out to lie down and imagine yourself on a tropical holiday, drink in hand; live concerts and DJs also take place every second Friday night. All told, it has a lot to offer families, couples and friends, and you’d be crazy to get anything less than a 4hr ticket; on-site accommodation is also available.
