The Alchemist Metropolitan

  plac Piłsudskiego 3 ,   Old Town          (+48) 22 628 00 23     28 Sep 2023
It’s still worth noting that this bar is where the plan for the future of drinking was hatched. The Alchemist’s patented 'Beer Wall' was the first of its kind in Europe; working with a handy 'Beer Wall' card, you can pour yourself as many drinks as you like from the 8 taps of local craft (and usually prosecco). Futuristic guzzling gizmos aside, however, the signature cocktails that shimmer, swirl and smoke are where the Alchemist earns its name, and their award-winning food (Gault & Millau 2020) contributes to making this a must-visit venue. On the card of international eats are excellent Polish dishes, delicious seafood, steaks, burgers and more. If all this wasn't enough, in the summer it's the spacious terrace that draws the locals to lounge around for hours enjoying The Alchemist's experimentation.

Fun fact: the Warsaw Metropolitan building where The Alchemist is housed was designed by British architect Norman Foster. A touch of modernity added to the Old Town area. We can stay here for hours just chilling with our beer cards and sharing platters. Top venue.

Though this location is closing on October 22, a new location will reopen on November 3 at ul. Poznańska 16. There is also a second location (without the Beer Wall) at ul. Grzybowska 5A.
