Vistula Tourist Ferry Service

City Centre         more than a year ago
During the warmer months of the year, if travelling between the two sides of the city from left-bank to right wasn't already easy enough via bus, metro, tram and bike, there's also a tourist ferry service available. It's only available at the weekends and on national holidays, but hey, every little helps - it's something different too, huh?! There are four short ferry routes, each with their own name:

Słonka - from Czerniaków area of Warsaw to Saska Kępa Beach.
Pliszka - Poniatowski Bridge on  the left-bank to the Poniatówka Beach on the Praga side of the river.
Wilga - from the Vistulan Boulevards in front of the Multimedia Fountain to Rusałka Beach.
Turkawka - from the north-eastern district of Nowodwory to Łomianki (great for bike lovers).

All ferries can take 21 people and 21 bikes with the exception of Wilga, which can take 40 people and 40 bikes.
