Marie Jeschke and Anja Langer founded an artistic group called Jeschkelanger. The artists ask whether it is possible to communicate nowadays considering that technology became faster, more efficient and isolated. How to be tolerant and accepting of different cultures? How to create societies that are based on friendship? The artists work in different media but are connected with a glass which becomes a vehicle for an idea. Jeschkelanger explores glass properties in terms of an artistic medium. They create installations involving architectural elements found at home - glass doors, mirrors and windows. These glass elements are on one hand delicate and easily shattered, on the other hand they can be dangerous.
