We Will All Meet at the Same Place

Sound and movement as an experimental art. Listening and gestures - things we do everyday become objects of art exploration. The human voice is perhaps the most versatile instrument of all as proven by John Cage, a pioneer of indeterminacy in music and non-standard use of musical instruments. His unconventional sound exploration challenged traditional definitions of music. The exhibition strives to introduce non-standard ways of perceiving sound and movement. Sound objects, installations and other forms of audiovisual messages arranged throughout the gallery space will be reinterpreted through performative actions.  Choreographic interventions will take place during the exhibition in the form of weekly mini-residences and workshops.
